ये हिंदुओं का तीर्थ स्थान है।और पूरे भारत से भक्तों और तीर्थयात्रियों के जत्थे त्योहारों या पवित्र दिवसों के अवसर पर स्नान करने के लिए यहाँ आते हैं। यहाँ स्नान करना मोक्ष प्राप्त करवाने वाला माना जाता है।
